Stuart Hess is the chief cricket correspondent of the Independent newspaper group in South Africa, and the only journalist it sent out for the Proteas' historic visit to Australia in 2008-09. Hess has covered the 2000 Olympic Games, as well as every Cricket World Cup since 2003.
Sinalo Jafta is a South African cricketer who plays as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter. She made her Women's One Day International cricket debut against New Zealand on 22 October 2016. In April 2019, she was named in South Africa's Women's Twenty20 International squad for their series against Pakistan.
Adrian Victor "Adi" Birrell in Grahamstown, Cape Province is a South African cricket coach and former first class cricketer. A leg break bowler, Birrell took 75 wickets at 30.16 in his career for Eastern Province, before turning to coaching. He was educated at St Andrew's College in Grahamstown.
