In Being Green this week, Glynis Crook speaks to Michal Šťastný of the Safari Park Dvůr Králové in the Czech Republic about an experimental project underway at two zoos on opposite sides of the country. To make up for the lack of interaction under Covid-19 restrictions, they are live streaming activities in the chimpanzee enclosures so that the two troops can watch each other’s daily lives. If you want to check out what the chimps are up to, you can do so here: https://safaripark.cz/en/about-us/news/chimps-in-safari-park-and-brno-zoo-zoom-every-day. The project will continue until the end of March.
