Prof Brian o Connell gets honorary doctorate

University of the Western Cape Rector and Vice-Chancellor Professor Brian O’Connell received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Education from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in Pretoria last night. Prof O’Connell’s career in education as a teacher, professor and education administrator has spanned more than 40 years. And UWC is now rated in the top-tier of South African Universities and leads in a number of research areas.
