This Sunday on The World Show we crossover to Los Angeles to chat to Ethiopian-born musician Kibrom Birhane. At the age of eight, he started playing krar (a five or six-stringed traditional Ethiopian lyre), and he’s now predominantly recognised as a pianist, composer and collaborator. Kibrom is also a member of LA-based Ethio-Cali group, that has included Jazz luminaries Kamasi Washington, Dexter Story, Mark De-Clive Lowe and many others.
