Next week, South Africans will host Dr Diana Buttu – who formerly served as a negotiator, on the side of the Palestinian Authority – and one of the people who have urged the world to impose sanctions on apartheid Israel, which continues to violate human rights in occupied territories. While in SA, this human rights lawyer will hold talks that seek to raise funds and cement awareness. From October 6 and 14, she will address ordinary people, activists, university students, unionists, and communities in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Pretoria.
