#BadMomsClub | "My friends say I’m too friendly with my kids!"

Hi #BadMomsClub,
I’m a single mom to two teenagers and my friends say I’m too familiar with my kids and warn me I’m heading for disaster. I have a 17-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter and we’re basically like friends. I treat my kids like adults and so far it’s worked well. I know everything about them (absolutely everything as we speak openly all the time) and I allow them to smoke at home and just be who they are. I don’t know any other moms like this, but it works for me. Are there any other mothers out there like this? Bad Moms Club please tell me honestly what you think?
This is Trish in Westville.
