The month of August is known as Women's Month in South Africa and is celebrated nationwide. The Killer Joint, under the station campaign slogan "I Am A Woman", decided to focus on the women in the house music space using the hashtag "I Am A Woman In House Music".

In this edition of #ArtistOfTheWeek, we feature award winning artist (vocalist), DJ, author - Sio. We explore her latest ventures, including her album "Features", latest book release titled "the dawn of night: the twilight child" and finally the focus point, being a woman in the music scene. We wrap up with a mix she put together for the show.
