The fight for inclusive publishing rights that assist blind and visually impaired people get access to literature has taken a step in the right direction: The Gauteng North High Court ruled that it’s unconstitutional for publishing rights holders to prevent their works to be converted to forms that are accessible to the visually impaired. Now, books can be converted to braile without the permission of the publisher. We speak to President of Blind South Africa, Ntshavheni Netshituni.
