The Department of Nature Conservation at the Mangosuthu University of Technology, invites you to the 3rd Congress on
Ecosystems Rehabilitation and Restoration (CERR) . This year, the CERR will engage as an online conference series covering
wide range of seasoned conversations and solutions to contemporary conservation issues for sustainability and community
resilience. This will be a weekly event, taking place from 28 October – 18 November 2021
We have invited internationally and locally recognized speakers to respond to various subthemes:
Subtheme 1: Sustainable harvesting of natural resources
Subtheme 2: Community-based conservation – allowing communities to care for their environment
Subtheme 3: The inclusion of indigenous knowledge system in conservation-based decision-making for sustainability
and resilience
