The months of November 2021 through to January 2022 are the period where members of medical aid schemes swopping memberships, or for existing members to adjust their memberships with their medical aid funds. This time is called the ‘window period’ in which members can review their medical aid benefits and make any adjustments based on their unique medical needs.
