WRITING CENTER WORKSHOP - INTRODUCTION

The Writing Centre and the Library, together, is running a three-part workshop series. These workshops will help students better understand various components of writing for academic purposes. They will be held online from 30 November to 2 December 2021. The will be three topics
On the 30 November there will be discussion on Writing for academic purposes: Analysing assignment questions
On the 1st December 2021 the topic is Writing with clarity: Proofreading with precision
And on 2nd December the topic is Writing with integrity: Using scholarly sources effectively
There will be two sessions one from 11am to 12pm and then in the evening from 6pm to 7pm. Khanyisile and Tshepang from the writing center are giving of what will be taking place during the workshop, the importance and purpose of the workshop.
