Chiefs Fans: We Demand Change

With the first round of the Nedbank Cup completed, the most noticeable result was a 1-0 victory for TS Galaxy over Kaizer Chiefs. This match (and result) is a direct reflection of the 2019 final, which saw the rockets win via a 90+2 minute penalty. Kaizer Chiefs were looking the business before the long break, having worked their way up to 4th pace on the DStv Premiership table, however as the old saying goes ‘anything can happen in football.’ The score remained even until the 54th minute when TS Galaxy striker Augustine Chidi Kwem netted. Without stating the obvious, Amakhosi Nation are incredibly frustrated and have been angered by this result, with many fans demanding change. Many supporters have been caught saying that the team has been playing the same football for years.
