Over the last 18 months or so, Covid has destroyed so many different parts of life that it is almost impossible to remember what it was like before the initial outbreak. Having been in strict lockdowns for the majority of these months, the biggest tragedy to the sport we all love is the fact that fans weren’t allowed in the stadiums due to safety concerns. Now, almost 2 years since the virus started, more than half the population has been vaccinated; other sports such as cricket and rugby have started to allow fans back into stadiums to watch live matches, and the question that is being asked by Mzansi is; when will the PSL start opening stadium to fans? With the Soweto Derby right around the corner, a salivating fixture is on the cards, however, on the latest episode of the fan reaction show, Mzansi expressed frustration about not being able to attend. One fan even says “The derby will be boring without fans watching live.” The fans are the 12th man f and they are itching to get behind their beloved teams to show support.

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi has their say about still not being able to attend live matches; especially with the Soweto Derby around the corner. The fans expressed frustration towards the PSL and also had a say on the future of Orlando Pirates striker Gabadinho Mhango, debating whether or not the Malawian should stay with the Buccaneers or not.
