Since his big move to the Bundesliga 2 years ago, Norwegian 'wunderkind' Erling Haaland has been in the tabloids ever since and is no stranger to publicity. The 21-year old has been in the news for all sorts of reasons, with the most common being his goal-scoring heroics for Borussia Dortmund. However, the secondary reason is the fact that Haaland is potentially the most sought out player in football right now. The son of Alf-Inge Håland has been linked to the biggest clubs in Europe such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, and now Manchester City. The Citizens have opened interest in signing the current Dortmund star as they failed to acquire an out-and-out striker in Harry Kane last season.
On the latest episode of the Bundesliga Connection, German football expert and DW Sports correspondent Kres Harrington breaks down some transfer rumours circulating around Erling Haaland, saying that Haaland’s days at Dortmund are numbered. Kres even goes as far as saying; “I wouldn’t be surprised if Haaland is holding out and won’t be seen in a Dortmund kit again.” Let's also not forget that a few weeks ago, Haaland said to the media that he feels as if Dortmund are pressuring him into making a decision.
