With the CAF Champions League heading towards the business end of the competition, Mamelodi Sundowns are hot favourites for this year's title after coming out victorious twice against the reigning champions in Al Ahly. Both games in Group A were won by the Brazilians 1-0 with nothing for Pitso to show. Sundowns top Group A with 10 points where AL Ahly sit in second place, way down on 4 points. It is starting to look as if Sundowns will qualify for the next round, however, Pitso and Al Ahly must win their next game to stand a chance of progressing and not exiting the cup.
