For the next three decades, the enormous impact that Mango Groove has had on the South African music scene is unmatched. When they started, popular multiracial music groups were not common in South Africa and Mango Groove was seen as a symbol of unity in a country struggling to shake itself free of apartheid. One of its core members, Claire Johnston joins us on the line to talk about their journey.
