As more cases of Monkey Pox continue to be detected in some countries around the world, Namibia too, is monitoring the movement of the outbreak.
The recent Monkey Pox outbreak was first identified in the UK and the virus began to be detected across Europe - with public health agencies in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden all confirming cases.
To speak on Namibia's preparedness, Soini Negongo spoke to Health and Social Services Minister Dr. Kalumbi Shangula, who is in Geneva for the World Health Assembly of the 75th Session of the World Health Organization (WHO).
