Europe is on fire, so we got Simon Carter to tell us why

Tuesday had to be the busiest day for London’s firefighters since World War Two after devastating wildfires destroyed people’s homes.
On a normal day, the London Fire Brigade receives 350 calls daily, and on a busy day, around 500.

However, on Tuesday the service received more than 2,600 calls at once. We got Simon Carter, who was our producer and now lives in London for an update.
