The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation’s (IJR) annual South African Reconciliation Barometer (SARB) survey report. This year’s report, entitled Lessons from the past, prospects for the future, reflects on over a decade of SARB data in order to assess the changes in perceptions and experiences of reconciliation since the inception of the survey in 2003. The SARB is the only survey in South Africa that provides a measure of progress in reconciliation since the transition to democracy in 1994.
