The recent agreement between the government and bargaining unions representing civil servants for a salary increment has been met with mixed feelings, with some noting it was done in bad faith.
Already some unions feel the deal sealed for a 3% increment on basic salary across the board, 11% on housing subsidy for those below management and 14% on transport allowance, is a betrayal to the workers.
