Growing up in Pretoria, Melorie Jane started the afro-funk, jazz band called ALL the MORE, in
2012. The group performed at venues such as Hard Rock Café Menlyn, Marais Street Acoustics
and +27 Café.

Inspired by contemporary South African jazz musicians, Melorie Jane released her debut album,
'More or Less' in November of 2021. The album won titles for Best Jazz Album (Public Vote
Category) and Best Jazz Female Artist in the Mzantsi Jazz Awards 2022

She joins Ngwako T. Malakalaka to talk about her Jazz journey and we also sampled some of her music.
