Johnny Clegg's son has told Hot1027 News that his father's life-long respect and admiration for the IsiZulu culture was sparked by Charlie Mzila's dignified handling of a racist encounter during apartheid.

The late singer's family finished his autobiography "Scatterling of Africa: My Early Years " - and its now up for this year's Sunday Times Literary Awards, in partnership with Exclusive Books.
