Earlier today, Eskom CEO Tshediso Matona briefed media on the power system and a forecast for the festive season.He apologized to the nation for the inconvenience of the past few weeks due to load shedding. Eskom has communicated for an extended period to South Africa that the power system is extremely constrained and vulnerable. The power system will be severely constrained for the next 2years atleast until 2 units from Medupi and 1 unit from Kusile are running. call on you again this summer to "live lightly" and reduce your energy consumption, especially from 6am until 10pm
