Today marks the 49th day of Oscar Pistorius’s prison sentence for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp and court has reconvened to decide whether his conviction and jail term can be appealed. The prosecutions aim is to argue "on a point of law" that the disgraced Paralympic athlete should not have been acquitted of murder, as well as that his sentence was too lenient
