As part of strategic interventions under the Key Priority Grant funding window of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Levy, the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) has identified apprenticeship training as one such key intervention for funding.
Since the onset of the 2018 pilot programme, Namibia's TVET apprenticeship journey to date has been a modest one, with more than 500 apprenticeship opportunities generated.
However, there is still a great need to have more employers come on board and generate even more prospects.
Dalia Mwiya from the NTA spoke to nbc Radio Current Affairs.
