It’s always a tough one when word on the street report a passing of someone but even harder when it’s someone we knew and loved, be it through their work or in person. Yesterday we received news of the passing of Pearl Shongwe, SABC presenter and broadcaster. A loving soul if you ever knew her, a consummate professional if you ever knew her work. Pearl was found at home by neighbours on her bed and no reports of any foul play have been reported. May her soul rest in peace and may she find eternal joy which was something she had always been seeking in life.
