Antoinette Maluleke is a survivor of domestic violence. After almost dying at the hands of her perpetrator, Antoinette decided to choose to leave her abusive marriage of many years, to give herself and her two daughters a chance to really live. Leaving was not easy she had to face the world as a single, unemployed parent to two young children (then aged 2 and 5). She didn't know where to turn to, or how to build a stable life for herself and her daughters, but she was determined.
