EFF wins interdict against Parliamentary sanctions

The Western Cape High Court on Tuesday lifted the sanctions imposed on the 20 EFF MPs suspended from Parliament. Granting the urgent interdict sought by the Economic Freedom Fighters, Judge Dennis Davis ruled it would come into effect immediately. The disruptions in the House on 21 August this year, led to a disciplinary committee suspending them from Parliament without pay for, in some cases, up to 30 days.
