• Today in 1992 serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is jailed for life. Dahmer, who’s life story is now a popular Netflix story, was convicted of murdering and dismembering at least 17 young mostly black men and boys. There’s been copycat cases over the years, in fact yesterday I saw the life-sentencing of that 19 year old white man who shot black people at that supermarket in the us. Remember that story? during his sentencing yesterday the judge said “you will never see the light of day”.

• Kiernan AKA Forbes be no more but his legacy lives on. The slain rapper would have been celebrating his birthday end of this month wit the release of his new album titled mass country.

• Taxi routes and market share is always a thorny issue when it comes to transportation. Thousands of pupils in Khayelitsha have been left stranded for nearly three weeks due to the intimidation of bus drivers by taxis drivers.
