650CKOM/980 CJME profiles the lives and stories of five people - who either are homeless or, who were recently homeless.

Over the last six months, Senior Reporter Lara Fominoff spent time at the former Emergency Wellness Centre in downtown Saskatoon, and on the Saskatoon Warming Bus learning a little bit about them.

Our series "Stories from the Streets" begins with single mom of four, Kaylene.

Last fall, she was staying at the EWC. Working with  staff, Kaylene was determined to get treatment, go back to school, find a home, and get off the streets.
