Business Group Sakeliga Takes Treasury To Task Over Eskom Exemption

Our Minister of Finance seems to have been quite busy lately. On Friday, it was announced that Eskom has been exempted from disclosing irregular and fruitless expenditure in its annual financial statements in a special government gazette issued by Minister of Finance Enoch Godongwana. Just yesterday, it was announced that Transnet has also been granted a similar exemption.

Business group Sakeliga had already taken some action against the Eskom development. Let’s find out what that action is now from its CEO, Piet Le Roux.
