On Monday, the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg found Gerhard Ackerman guilty of multiple charges linked to a child sex abuse ring that he masterminded. He was found guilty of several hundred counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of producing child pornography. But what does his conviction mean in the fight against child sex abuse?
