Orlando Pirates beat Sekhukhune United 2-1 and lifted the Nedbank Cup thus
bringing the business end of the 16th edition of the Nedbank Cup.
The Nedbank Cup campaign is built on the sentiment that the small, everyday
choices can have the biggest impact on our lives.
This season, Nedbank partnered with renowned coach and football legend
Pitso Mosimane and former players Stanton Fredericks, Teko Modise and
Daine Klate as well as footballer Siphiwe Tshabalala to share their stories to
inspire South Africans to make decisions that will benefit their futures.
Nedbank first took sponsorship of the Nedbank Cup in 2008 at a value of
R400 million over five years. The bank renewed its sponsorship in 2013.
2018 marked a new chapter for Nedbank and the Premier Soccer League after
the two parties extended their partnership for another five years.
