As Mawlid celebrations continue in full swing, and as discussed yesterday, several special guests will be in attendance. Alhamdulillah it gives me great pleasure not only to announce but to be in the presence of one of them. None other that Sh Babikir Ahmad Babikir. Sh Babikir is a descendent of the renowned companion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Abu Bakr As Siddiq, from whom he takes his name. He is a classicaly trained Islamic scholar, teacher and public speaker. Sh Babikir was born in Sudan where he completed the full course of traditional Islamic Sciences.
