AWQAF SA win at Islamic Economic Awards in Dubai

The National Awqaf Foundation of South Africa (Awqaf SA) walked away with the top honours in the Waqf and Endowments category at the prestigious Islamic Economy Awards, which took place on Wednesday 14th January 2015, in Dubai.
The event recognizes innovative world-class business initiatives and ideas that have contributed to the social and economic welfare of the Muslim population.
Awqaf SA took the award in the category of Waqf and Endowments that recognises contribution in innovative solutions, government managed and and private awqaf/waqf management services, and cross-border waqf institutions.
