Girls from Jeppe High say hosting the Joburg leg of the “Local Blankets is Lekker tour” at their school was an honour that would have made former president Nelson Mandela proud.

Pupils, parents ,knitwits , community members and HOT1027 converged on the school on Saturday where thousands of carefully knitted and crotched blankets were handed over to keep the vulnerable warm this winter..
