
Loopholes in proposed drone regulations

Civil society activists are concerned about proposed amendments to civil aviation regulations which would legalise the use of drones. They say the regulations are currently silent on the need to protect the public against the massive potential for drones to be used in surveillance and invasions of privacy. The Committee is finalising the regulations this week.
