
Dramat's reinstatement still on hold

Hawks boss Anwa Dramat will continue his wait to find out whether he is allowed to return to work or not after the High Court in Pretoria reserved judgment in an application to compel the police to reinstate him. The Helen Suzman Foundation won an application two weeks ago to have Dramat’s suspension deemed unlawful and invalid but Police Minister Nkosinathi Nhleko has appealed the matter. Dramat is accused of being involved in the illegal rendition of four Zimbabweans in 2010, a charge he has denied.
