In an interview with Natasha Nekwaya, the founder of the Havana Charity Organisation, she said that they help to improve the lives of people living in the informal settlement, aiming to give hope to the helpless and build the world to make it a better place.
She also emphasised that they provide counselling to people, especially teenagers, who have no one to talk to. They not only provide basic needs to Havana but also other informal settlements like Goreangab, Ombili, and Hakahana.
She further added that they have faced numerous challenges, such as a lack of food, transport, and funds to pay for cabs to pick up donations.
