Both the Health Ombudsman Professor Taole Mokoena and the Minister of Health, Dr Joe Phaahla,
on have expressed their outrage at the actions of two nurses from a clinic in Motherwell in Nelson
Mandela Bay in the Eastern Cape. The nurses sent a raped teenager, who was in desperate need of
medical attention, to walk to a police station. The girl died of an overdose of antibiotics a few hours
