Changes are coming to Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) legislation this year in Canada. Dr. Donna Stewart is one of Canada’s leading experts in MAiD. She is a professor at the University of Toronto as well as a member of the Canadian Psychiatric Association Working Group on MAiD, the Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers, and Dying with Dignity. She joins Evan to discuss what those changes in 2024 to MAiD will mean for Canadians and to answer listener's questions about the new changes to the program.
