Metrobus strike leaves Joburg commuters stranded

Commuters found themselves stranded in the Johannesburg area after a number of Metrobus
employees embarked on a strike. According to Metrobus employees went on an illegal strike during
the afternoon shift on Thursday, after their demands were not met. Phemelo speaks to Metrobus
Spokesperson Tshepo Nathan, MMC for Roads and Transport in the City of Joburg Kenny Kunene and
Samwu Joburg Regional Secretary Thobani Nkosi.
