The provincial leadership of the ANC and EFF have each given their versions of
what led to the violence in the Ekurhuleni council chamber on Thursday. A brawl
erupted on Thursday night during a motion of no confidence in the mayor, Sivuyile
Ngodwana, after the EFF were denied an opportunity to speak by EFF Speaker
