Hot Cares and Silverstar assists determined young disabled man

Sandile, a determined young man living with a disability that affects his arms, adeptly employs his feet for tasks like writing and operating a laptop. Despite facing challenges, he secured a year-long learnership at an IT company in Randburg in 2023. His dedication and hard work impressed the company so much that they offered to extend his learnership for another year.

While Sandile's stipend from the learnership and the small disability grant help cover basic living expenses, transportation costs pose a significant obstacle to his prospects. Despite this challenge, he remains committed to making the most of his learnership opportunity to carve out a better future for himself.
