The World Show is having a double bill this Sunday, and both acts are from Cape Town!
Kujenga, which means "to build" in Swahili, will be the first group to join us.
Kujenga, who identify as a "Black improvised music outfit," are currently on a national tour in support of their recently released album, "In the Wake."
Following that, Thandeka Dladla, a gifted singer and composer, will join us.
At the age of twelve, Thandeka began listening to classical music. She later studied jazz at the University of Cape Town and gained notoriety as the lead vocalist of "The Unity Band." She was on their 2023 follow-up, "Breaking Bread," as well as their debut single, "Fabric."
It is now time to enjoy Thandeka's stunning new solo debut album, "Umnikelo."
