Naude Dreyer from Ocean Conservation Namibia gives Karlien weekly updates on their incredible work done in Namibia.
Namibia has a healthy Cape Fur Seal population of more than one million individuals all along its coast. These seals are exposed to illegally abandoned fishing gear and other marine debris.
Since 2013, the Ocean Conservation Namibia team has rescued over 3500 entangled seals from certain death.
Through direct action, exposure and education, OCN hopes to motivate individuals all over the world to change their own behaviour towards a sustainable future.

Effort vs Bare Minimum

There’s a difference between effort… and the bare minimum. The bare minimum keeps things going. Effort builds something real. Effort is consistency. Effort is thoughtfulness. Effort is choosing someone — even when it’s not convenient. Don’t confuse attention with effort.
