30 years later, survivors remember the Rwandan genocide

Rwanda is marking 30 years since the start of the genocide.

In just 100 days, extremists belonging to the country's Hutu majority killed 800 000 minority Tutsis and thousands of moderate Rwandans.

The Hutu militias roamed the country using machetes and rifles to kill their victims while the world stood by and watched.

Three decades later , the survivors are looking back.
