As we prepare to begin on our Fundamental
Beliefs study, let us lay a base on being equipped for
Biblical Hermeneutics - a big word just meaning interpretation. The word interpret can be used to mean
“to understand,” “to translate,” or “to explain.” These
three functions of the interpretive process are useful to
bring the Bibles message to everyday relatability and
application. To do this, then, the interpreter needs to
have a working knowledge of the basic principles of
interpretation. Pr John Mavesere takes us through these
in our study.
