A researcher and postdoctoral fellow from the University of Manitoba, Amani Hamad, has set out to look at the origins of mental disorders to find out whether they include genetic and environmental factors. Both those factors are reflected in family health histories, and Hamad joins Evan to discuss her examination of intergenerational transmission of mental disorders from parents and grandparents.
