Prof Elna McIntosh is a clinical sexologist. She started as a professional nursing sister then completed a Master of Public Health, a Diploma of Education in Sex Education, and a PhD in Human Sexuality. In 1990, she opened DISA clinic: a women’s sexual and reproductive health care centre. Her biggest achievement to date is surviving breast cancer twice. She is hoping to retire this year.
